The annual Dunstone A.R.T ‘Wine Exhibition returns to Dunstone Country Estate on Saturday, 1 November 2025, bringing together wine, art, design, gastronomy, and live music in a celebration of Wellington’s creative and viticultural landscape.
Now in its latest edition, the exhibition has become one of the Winelands’ most anticipated boutique events, offering visitors an immersive experience that highlights the region’s craftsmanship, innovation, and sense of community.
The 2025 programme will showcase curated works by local and emerging artists, including contributions from the Art@Africa Kunye Collaboration, alongside displays of design and fashion. Guests can explore the estate’s gardens and vineyards while enjoying live music performances, artisanal food, and a selection of wines from across the Wellington region.
Participating producers this year include Wolvenhoek, Jacaranda Wines, Bela-Bela, Doolhof Wine Estate, Canetsfontein, Hildebrand Wines & Olive Oil, and Tempel Wines, in addition to Dunstone’s own cellar. Tastings will also extend to premium brandies and whiskies crafted in the area.
A highlight of the day is a five-course tasting menu, paired with Wellington wines and served in staggered sessions to maintain an intimate atmosphere. The culinary journey will include Cap Classique, oysters, and macarons on arrival, followed by tapas-style wine-and-canapé pairings in the gardens of the manor house. Visitors can also participate in guided art walks through the vineyards and orchards, where food and wine stations will be integrated into the route.
Additional experiences include a décor showcase, a red-carpet fashion presentation featuring local designers, and wellness pop-ups offering mini spa treatments in a relaxed outdoor setting. The event’s layout encourages a leisurely flow, with guests invited to wander between lounges, art installations, and performance spaces throughout the estate.
Dunstone Country Estate, situated in the Bovlei Valley at the foot of the Hawequa and Limiet Mountains, is known for its hospitality offerings — from its winery and guesthouse to Roots Bistro and gallery. The A.R.T ‘Wine Exhibition continues to position the estate as a cultural and culinary destination within Wellington’s growing wine tourism landscape.
