Time for a cuppa: Tee Tuin opens at BOSJES

< 1 min

After enjoying the natural beauty of BOSJES, and taking a meditative ramble through the landscaped gardens, guests can now enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, or a cold refreshment, in the open-air tea garden. BOSJES, in the Breedekloof Valley close to Ceres, recently opened their tea garden, and it’s headed up by executive chef Kim Cox.

The menu includes carrot cake with cream cheese frosting; homemade scones with jam and cream; chocolate éclairs; oatmeal and raisin cookies; muffins; and meringues. On summer days, the chef’s signature vanilla ice cream, served in a sugar cone or with a chocolate brownie, and decadent peanut butter and caramel popcorn milkshake are bound to be popular orders. On the savoury side, choose from quiche or pie served with a side salad, or a gourmet sandwich filled with roasted vegetables, mozzarella and basil pesto.

For those who are looking for a more substantial meal, BOSJES Kombuis is open for lunch – the restaurant has high ceilings, windows offering an unimpeded view of the surrounding mountains, and a children’s play area.

The TeeTuin is open between 10h00 and 16h00, from Wednesday to Sunday, weather permitting. For more information on BOSJES, visit their website by clicking here.
