On the last Friday of each month, Lacuna Bar at The Maslow in Sandton offers a five-course set menu for dinner, suitable for couples or small groups looking to enjoy a structured dining experience in a relaxed bistro setting.
The Friday Fivefold Indulgence menu was developed with professionals in mind, offering an opportunity to mark the end of the week with a well-paced meal featuring seasonal ingredients and considered preparation.
Executive Sous Chef Thokozane Shongwe and his team have put together a menu that reflects a balance of flavour and technique across five courses, starting with a prawn arancini amuse bouche served with marinara aioli.
Guests can choose between two starters:

Creamy mussel hot pot with salsa verde and toasted ciabatta

Beef steak tartare with capers, gherkins, red onion, truffle aioli, egg yolk, and a crispy crouton
A palate cleanser of lemon sorbet with grilled pineapple and rum salsa is served before the main course. Main options include:
