With the signing of their first hotel in Conakry, the capital of the Republic of Guinea in West Africa, Radisson Hospitality AB now has hotels in 31 African markets, bring the total of hotels and rooms in operation and development in Africa to 90 and 18 000 respectively.
The Radisson Blu Hotel Conakry is scheduled to open in 2019. The hotel will be located just 10km from the airport, in a prime position near the city centre, surrounded by the Convention Centre, Palais du People, the National Hospital and multiple embassies. It will feature 123 bedrooms comprising 5 different room types, all-day dining and specialty restaurants, a pool lounge and bar, a meetings and events space, a spa, fitness room and swimming pool.
