The President Hotel in Cape Town has provided its guests with a customised in-room entertainment solution with HotelFlix. Through this technology, guests will be able to log in to over 1000 different apps including Netflix, Showmax, DStv and Youtube, and stream movies and TV shows from their phones to their room’s TV screen.
With frequent travellers in mind, the President Hotel aims to provide an environment that feels like a home away from home. “We want to be mindful of the impact technology has on the lives of our guests, and introduce smart devices in an intelligent way to customise their experience at the hotel,” says Jeremy Clayton, the President Hotel’s General Manager.
In order to make use of the complimentary service, guests simply connect to the hotel’s free Wi-Fi, launch HotelFlix from the on-screen TV menu and follow the instructions to log in.
