The Private Hotel School opens Johannesburg Campus

After 13 years of operation in Stellenbosch, The Private Hotel School will be opening a second campus in Johannesburg on the 1st of August.

The premises for the new campus are in Rosebank in the Keyes Art Mile and has capacity for 100 students. The new facilities include conference and lecture venues, a fully operational restaurant, library, offices and gardens. Says The Private Hotel Schools Director, Susina Jooste: “With the opening of our Rosebank campus, even more of tomorrow’s hospitality industry leaders will be able to gain the hands-on educational and cultural awareness skills necessary to succeed in a competitive economy.”

One, two and three-year full-time courses will be offered, including an Occupational Chef Certificate, a Higher Certificate in Hospitality Management, a Diploma in Event Management, an Advanced Certificate in Hospitality and an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Education.

Adds MD Renee Hill: “Through its partnership with the American Hospitality Academy (AHA), The Private Hotel School collaborates with some of the most prestigious members of the USA hospitality industry and academic institutions globally to create a comprehensive International Hotel Management School (IHMS) curriculum. Our curriculum combines innovative and leading-edge hospitality instruction with sound practical training and knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry.”
