Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festival Cape Town
On from 26 April at 12pm to 27 April at 6pm, at the Claremont Cricket Club, Constantia Sports Complex, festival visitors will have the opportunity to taste the signature wines from more than 50 estates – including a variety of Cape Classique and sparkling wines. Additionally, the Pick n Pay Fresh Food Market will serve an assortment of dishes, such as fish and chips, fresh salads, sushi, and indulgent cheese and charcuterie boards,

Good Life Show
On from 30 May at 10am to 01 June at 4pm, at the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC), this is probably the largest event in southern Africa dedicated to the combination of food, drink, and conscious living. Previously launched as the Plant-Powered Show and currently in its fifth year, the Good Life Show focuses on plant-based options, natural and organic lifestyle choices, health essentials, planet-friendly practices, and incredibly delicious culinary adventures. Don’t miss international chef-magic experiences from the likes of Dr Aris LaTham and Bettina Campolucci Bordi; tips on ways to live your healthiest life; eco-friendly business practices, together with daily habits; and engaging talks with thought leaders in the space. Those from the trade will be able to explore a wide range of innovative products/solutions and network with colleagues, experts, and potential business partners.

Knysna Oyster Festival
On all day from 4 to 13 July, the Knysna Oyster Festival – with its delectable oysters, vibrant atmosphere, and thrilling athletic opportunities – invites all those planning on attending to join in for a “shucking good time”. Popular sporting events, which you should book for without delay, include the Knysna Forest Marathon and the Knysna Cycle Tour. There’s also a Fine Wine Festival, an Oyster Festival Country Market, an Eden Classic Car Show, and an “Oysters: Naked, Dressed or Roasted?” shucking championship comedy skit all rolled into one. If you’re based elsewhere in the country, it’s well worth making the trek because the vibrant combination of live music performances, cooking competitions, wine pairings, and hot athletes lurking about cannot be beaten – all amidst the unique charm of Knysna and its surrounds.
