If you’re a whisky fan, there’s a great opportunity to sample the award-winning collection of single malts from Bunnahaibhan at this year’s Whisky Live Celebrations tasting event from 17 to 19 May at the Menlyn Park Shopping Centre in Pretoria.
South Africa’s own Pierre Meintjes and whisky expert Brian Glass, representing Bunnahabhain at the show, will be delighting whisky lovers with captivating whisky tales, beautifully intertwined with the facts, to provide an all-encompassing single malt whisky experience. On offer will be the distillery’s award-wining Bunnahabhain 12- and 18-year-old single malt whiskies.
Crafted on the Scottish island of Islay, the sought-after Bunnahabhain connoisseur range of single malt whiskies continues to impress spirits judges worldwide. Late last year, Bunnahabhain 18-year-old was awarded the coveted Cask Strength Scotch Whisky Trophy at the 2017 International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC).
Bunnahabhain has developed a following amongst whisky aficionados over the years, for the relative rarity of its whiskies and their singular flavour that is quite unlike the peaty, smoky malts traditionally associated with the island of Islay.
Whisky Live Pretoria tickets are available at www.ticketpros.co.za with tickets starting at R230 for general admission.
