95 on Parks in Constantia offers 6-course Italian experience

2 min read

Giorgio Nava’s 95 on Parks brings a big serving of traditional Italian cuisine to the Southern Suburbs, and the 6-course Italian Experience is the perfect way to experience everything the restaurant has to offer. At R330 per person the Italian Experience takes diners on a journey of 95 at Parks classics and includes two starters, two pastas, a main course and dessert. The set menu is available for lunch and dinner in addition to the regular à la carte menu.

“Our 6-course menu gives people in the Southern Suburbs the opportunity to enjoy a real Italian food experience from antipasti, primi piatti, secondi right through to dolci at an affordable price. Now there is really no need to hold back if you want to partake in authentic Italian-style dining,” says Chef Giorgio.

This generous Italian Experience changes monthly with options between fish and meat dishes amongst the starters and mains. Chef Giorgio’s latest version includes classic caprese with creamy artisanal burrata mozzarella and a trout salad for starters, followed by a choice of his famous slow cooked ravioli of Karoo lamb shoulder, or butternut ravioli, before you tuck into delicious handmade gnocchi in sage butter. The main course is a choice between steamed mussels alla marinara, another 95 at Parks showstopper, or a succulent sliced sirloin rocket salad – perfect on a hot summer’s day. Tiramisu, the queen of Italian desserts with a dash of espresso for good measure, brings the meal to a triumphant close.

If you are looking for real Italian food made from the best quality produce for an intimate dinner, a light lunch with friends, or a lazy Sunday family luncheon, 95 at Parks has it all. The relaxed country house feel is offset by sleek Milanese accents of uncluttered furnishings and giant 1930’s murals. The bar and sun filled conservatory is the place to be for pre-dinner drinks. 95 at Parks also caters for small, intimate functions in the 10-seater private dining room. Dining al fresco under the pergola overlooking the beautiful cottage garden is another 95 at Parks highlight on sunny, wind free days.

Known for his uncompromising quality and Milanese flair, Chef Giorgio has been wowing Capetonians with his authentic north Italian fare for the past 15 years. It all began in 2003 with the opening of his flagship 95 Keerom in the city’s legal district, followed by 95 At Morgenster in Somerset West, and 95 at Parks in Constantia last year.

95 at Parks is situated at 114 Constantia Main Road and is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesdays to Saturdays, and Sunday lunch, with secure parking on the premises. For bookings call Tel: 021-7610247 or email parks@95keerom.com.
