Created by South African social media duo Kiki La Coco and Malcolm Wentzel, The Wake-Up Call is a high-energy gathering where style meets substance. The event delivers a western-inspired luxury experience that balances grit, glamour and generosity.

Guests can expect live country music under the stars, curated fashion moments, art installations and meaningful conversations. Importantly, the evening invites guests to celebrate while contributing to real social impact.

Star Power and Soulful Storytelling

The evening features a fashion show, live performances and engaging talks by standout guest speakers. These include Anita Lloyd of The Real Housewives franchise, master NLP coach Michelle Israel, and country singer Johan Casey, whose sound sets the tone for a soulful and celebratory night.

Art lovers will also enjoy front-row access to a charity auction. Works by leading artists Anton Smit, Laura Jamieson and William Sweetlove, among others, will be on offer. Each piece invites guests to invest in beauty while giving back.

The Wake-Up Call is an initiative of The FKN Army, the non-profit founded by Kiki La Coco and Malcolm Wentzel in 2022. Built on compassion, action and generosity, the movement uses its reach to support communities in need and spark hope across South Africa.

“The FKN Army is more than a following,” says Wentzel. “It’s a family of like-minded people who believe in giving and standing together.”

All funds raised on the night will support Pioneer House, an elderly care home in Vanderbijlpark, ensuring the event’s impact extends well beyond the dance floor.

A Heavenly Setting in Wellington

Set at the foot of the Hawequa Mountains, Dunstone Country Estate provides a breathtaking backdrop for the event. The estate is known for its guesthouse, bistro-style restaurant and art gallery, all of which reflect its creative soul.

Its curated spaces form the perfect canvas for The Wake-Up Call, allowing guests to move seamlessly through the experience.

The Evening Journey

The guest experience unfolds as a guided journey through the estate, accompanied by live music. Guests arrive at the manor house for welcome drinks and flame-grilled snacks. From there, they move to the fashion show and official welcome.

Food is served on the manor veranda overlooking the pool, vineyards and mountains. This space also hosts the speaker sessions and charity auction, creating a setting that is both intimate and inspiring.
