This year, in an effort to recognise more of South Africa’s restaurants, Eat Out has nominated 30 restaurants in the running for their top 10 list. The winning restaurants are chosen by a panel of five judges, led by Eat Out editor and head judge Abigail Donnelly. Aside from Abigail, the panel will remain anonymous even after the judging has concluded. Says Abigail: “We are thrilled to be recognising more restaurants with the new format this year. No fewer than 13 restaurants are making their debut appearance on our list of nominees.”
