Spier Spa Now Open at Newly Relaunched Spier Hotel in Stellenbosch

< 1 min

The newly developed Spier Spa, located within the reimagined Spier Hotel, is now operational. Open to both hotel guests and day visitors, the facility forms part of the broader renovation and repositioning of the hotel, which reopened in early March 2025.

The spa includes ten treatment rooms and a Cape Herbal Bath House. It also features a proprietary line of all-natural wellness products developed from botanicals grown on the Spier farm or sourced from surrounding areas. These products are used throughout the facility’s treatments. A phytotherapist is available on-site to consult with guests and personalise treatment plans based on individual needs.

With a view onto the gardens, the upper-level mindful movement studio provides a dedicated space for modalities such as yoga and pilates. In addition to the studio, bathhouse, and treatment rooms, the spa offers a dedicated mani-pedi station, an infrared sauna, a steam room, cold therapy facilities, and lymph drainage treatments.

The spa’s setting includes indigenous gardens, a dedicated apothecary garden, a plunge pool, and a private courtyard.

Located in the Stellenbosch winelands, the spa draws on the local flora of the Cape Floral Kingdom in its treatment approach. Plant-based ingredients are either organically cultivated in Spier’s gardens or harvested from nearby farms.
