Luxury hotel and spa resort, the African Pride Mount Grace Country Hotel & Spa, will soon fall under the leadership of Ernst-Jan ‘EJ’ Hiltemann. He’ll be stepping into the shoes of Anton Meiring, who recently took up the reins at the Protea Hotel by Marriott® OR Tambo.

With a wealth of industry experience, Hiltemann is well-qualified to take on the position of General Manager of this well-known establishment.  Having studied at the ML Sultan Hotel School and at Switzerland’s prestigious Hotel Institute Montreux, he joins Protea Hotels by Marriott from his role as head of operations for the Durban region of AHA Hotels and Lodges.

Having worked as both a hotel General Manager and in operations, Hiltemann’s knowledge of the industry is extensive.  This, coupled with his passion for people, bodes well for the hotel’s future.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join Marriott International within the African Pride Hotels brand, especially in one of its leading properties.  Being part of the world’s largest hotel group is certainly something I treasure, and I am sure I will have a stimulating and exciting time in my new role that I take up on 27 February,” Hiltemann says.
