The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest hotel groups, has appointed Saadiyah Hendricks as its new Area Communication & PR Manager for Africa & Indian Ocean.

Hendricks has more than eight years of widespread exposure in the public relations industry in Africa. Her knowledge and skills – gained in the diversified environments of corporate and consumer divisions – include hotels, property, luxury brands, technology, sports and retail, as well as media and marketing.

Her career started in 2008 at Marcus Brewster Publicity as a PR Junior Account Executive and steadily grew in the business and communications industry to Account Director of a major PR agency based in South Africa.

Based in their Cape Town office, Hendricks’ role and responsibility includes developing and implementing corporate communications and public relations strategies and plans to promote Rezidor and its brands within the Africa and Indian Ocean market.
