Season 2 of Private Chef to start end January

Cape Town chef Neill Anthony will be hitting our TV screens on the 26th of January with a second season of his show, Private Chef. Airing on Food Network (DStv Channel 175) on Thursdays at 20h00, the unscripted show is a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a private chef in Cape Town. Each episode sees Neill invited to cook in the homes of his prestigious clients, acquaintances and friends for their personal dinner extravaganzas, inviting viewers to watch and learn how to prepare five-star quality meals with all the pro-chef tips included.

There will be 13 episodes in the season, and celebrities visited include Arno Carstens, Vanessa Haywood and Carol Bouwer. Neill not only cooks in homes in and around Cape Town, but also all over South Africa, including in Johannesburg, Soutpansberg in Limpopo, and Paarl. On the menu are dishes such as Beef tartare; Crab, Avocado and Grapefruit with an almond espuma; Ricotta and apple hot cakes; Rib eye salad wrap; and Hazelnut Praline mille feuille.
